Cool

Cool. Understated. Elemental. Spare.

A simple, inexpensive idea for event florals. Calla lilies and allium stems.

See how the Calla lily stems are coiled and bound, and the clear vase is bound round with silver wire?

An unadorned space, vinyl floors, pale walls. Simple chairs. Plastic lounges. A unifying color makes it elegant and serene.

The imaginative touch - a coil of malleable silver wire twisted, molded and crimped onto the mouth of the vase to hold the stems upright.

Smart ideas for an affordable yet elegant event. Worth sharing.

I love that simplicity of the white. And the silver wire is brilliant. But if I coiled a calla lily like that it would, inevitably, snap!

Though with a lovely, plain cool decor and arrangement, its a pity to spoil it with people!! ;)

I'm amazed at the ideas people come up with! I think I live with too much clutter to see through to the other side.
