Tiny treasures

Sometimes the sweetest things in life are hidden right at your feet. Here, in a cobbled courtyard in Dijon, France, fraises des bois, tiny wild strawberries, grow between the stones.

You have to stop, look, and focus to find the tiny treasures in life.

Great photograph. We miss so much; had to remind myself this morning on a walk through our neighborhood....we saw some great spider webs hidden in the tender branches of shrubs. Fascinating and beautiful.

I've been scarfing on pea-sized wild grapes lately, in plain sight by a relatively heavily-trafficked path. I always get this feeling that I'm somehow privy to this secret world lying just beneath the surface of mundane reality, but the reality is just that I'm observant.

I love the photo and the message...sometimes I think we are always moving way too fast!
