We're back
We're back in Los Angeles after a trip to see family in the Chicago area. Here's a photo of a goldfinch I was able to snap, during a morning walk along the Fox River.
I had chances to take goldfinch pics on Saturday and Sunday in German Village this weekend. Both were spoiled by the inopportune arrival of automobiles.
It is too bad you had to join us in Illinois during the heatwave of 2011! I don't remember so many days of this horrible heat. Maybe it was a little cooler in Chicago than it is down the state a bit.
